HeY!!!
So ya transfers happen tomorrow. I am staying in Farmington and I am getting a new companion. He is from Columbia and he was serving on the rez, but Elder Sanchez is going to Sheeps Springs on the rez so he is not to excited to leave but it is all good! His name is Elder Hozman and yes he does speak Spanish. He has been out for about 6-8 months i believe! To answer your question, I went to the doctor in April for my back because I was having some serious pain. I have a really bad muscle strain in the left of my back but I can't really do anything about it on the mission, but it is all good!
So this week we have done a lot of service. We worked at the Bishop's store house and I thought that I would never use my grocery store skills ever in my life again, but what we did was fill orders and stock shelves. It brought back a lot of memories though haha.
We also are now helping in the animal shelter by walking the dogs which is a lot of fun actually!
Then we helped paint the inside of an elderly lady's house on Saturday. We felt really bad because of how bad it was in there. Her granddaughters, they are 10 and 7, write all over the walls and made it a mess in there! So it was a pretty neat experience. After we were done it looked a lot better. Here is a few pictures of the after math!!
And yes I got the packages from you and the ward, thank you so much for that!!

HEy! I. am very glad to be back actually, I have really missed it here! Elder Sanchez and I get along very well and we have a lot of fun while getting a lot of work done! This week we found 4 new investigators and they have never been taught be for so that was way cool!
It is not that bad living with the AP's because they are pretty cool guys! I am not a trainer but I am still a District Leader!
We meet our new mission president Thursday! He comes in today and he is now the new one!
It is very nice to see everyone again too! I have really missed it here and I love it here as well, we have a lot more to do here than in Bloomfield!
Chaco Canyon
We had to go through this groove to get to the top of the mesa
This is the Alba family. They are awesome and love them alot.

HEY!! So I am going back to Farmington and it will be the same address as before! Also I am writing you a letter so that will come in the next week and that has all of the details of what has happened this past week! It was a crazy fun filled week! I also have a lot of pictures I will send!
I am excited to go back and it will be good to be with Elder Sanchez! He is from New York and goes home with Elder Castro in November. I will be living in the AP's house again. Elder Jensen is staying here and is going with Elder Gonzalez, so that is cool!
I really have like President Batt and how much he has done for me and he is just an all around great President! He has helped me out with a lot here and I am excited to see how things will go with President Adams and it happens on June 28 ( I think).

Hey! That looks like it was a lot of fun in Lake Powell! We are having a couple of slow weeks because we have no one to teach right now and so that kind of sucks but besides that everything is going good! We are going to the Aztec Ruins today and I will get pictures for you! We also went to the Colorado border on Satuday to go and try a potential, but they weren't there and we were only a couple of miles away so we thought why not! haha but ya we are still teaching Ana's family and the one investigator that was on date, he is off date now because he just got moved to work in Texas instead of Colorado so we haven't been able to see him at all which kind of sucks but everything else is looking up for us as well! We find out transfer news this Saturday and I will be able to let you know on Monday! i will send those pictures of us at the Colorado border next week too!

Hola!
So here is some news for you, we are restarting our area because no one is progressing and they don't really want to do anything so we decided to just restart everything. But I received a phone call on Friday night from Elder Castro and Gonzalez from Cortez. Haha it really surprised me and we just talked it was really nice to talk to them! I also talked to Elder Oakley and Rubio on Monday night as well!
So some more news for ya. I have been thinking about college a little bit and talked to some people about different routes to take, and one of our branch represteantives is a lawyer and after talking to him I decided not to take that route in life. It just sounds miserable, unless you own your own firm. So that is a no! But I have decided to go in to the medical field! Also I am thinking about going to BYU Idaho with Elder Larsen, so ya thought I would let you know. He's from Pullman, Washington. We will be going home about the same time. Oh and if anyone is ever wondering what to send to me, Walmart gift cards are always awesome.
Love ya!

I've slacked a little the past couple of weeks. Here's a little update:
May 26th

HEY!! Everything is going a lot better! We are getting along way better and are starting to have fun and have a lot more success now! Well we got locked out of our house because I forgot the keys and so we tried carding the door but didn't work so Elder Jensen put his shoulder in to it and kind of broke the door so ya haha and right before he did, I told him not to break the door, so I kind of jinxed it! Our investigator is still on date and his family his helping him a lot with everything which is good! There is a lot of support right now with him and his family!
It has been raining here and there but all in all it has been good! My Spanish is getting a lot better. I am so close to being fluent and I am getting a lot of help from one of our investigators. She corrects me a lot, which is a good thing. She is one of my favorites also. Her name is Ana. She is 23 or 24 and is married and has two little girls. They are a really cool family. Here's a couple of random pics. The first one is our truck that I drive and the other one is a sign we came upon while we were driving around one day.
June 1st
Hey!
Everything is getting better here with the companion! We only have one person on date right now. We had to let the other family go for right now so that they can see if this is really what they want to do! We have about 9 investigators now in total from our 18! We have been dropping like crazy these last few weeks, because they are not doing anything! We are most likely going to drop a few more in these next couple of weeks. So we are really trying to focus on finding people. It is very difficult to find people, that are Spanish people! We went to a members birthday party for their little girl who turned one. She is a really cute girl. There wasn't much that happened this week so that was kind of a bummer! Today we are going to Farmington and the Palfreyman's are going to feed us dinner. That is going to be fun!
I am glad Holden had fun (at the dance), and yes I know who she is. She is Brett Johns cousin too. While you are in Lake Powell you should try and swing down to the Arizona border and see Elder Oakley in Page haha!
I got the package thank you. Have a good week. Love ya!
